Being a CEO for one of the largest ERP software business solutions and provider is no ordinary task, its responsibilities require more than just 8 hours in the office and a couple of meetings. One man who knows how heavy yet very rewarding this kind of job is no other than Mr. Charles Phillips Oracle. He is the man responsible for bringing the company Infor to a lot of great heights; he is also the man behind the success of the Oracle Company.
However, he didn’t just become Chief Executive Officer overnight, he had to work for a lot companies first before he became who he is today. In his earlier years, Charles was in the servitude of his country in the United States Marine Corps. He first started as a Captain and right before he became Captain he first graduated with a Major in BS Computer Science in the United States Air Force Academy.
Charles Phillips and his eagerness to study didn’t just end in the United States Air Force Academy; he went on to study other degrees as well in two other universities. He also graduated with an MBA in Hampton University and a JD at the New York Law School; this further improved his skills and knowledge in the field of all things Information Technology. By the time he graduated from all these three establishments, Charles was ready to take on the real world, the real business world. First, he applied as a managing director in the Morgan Stanley Group, in here he worked as a director for the company, and apart from working at Morgan, he also applied for other jobs as a Director as well in Jazz at Lincoln Center, the American Museum of Natural History, and also in Viacom Corporation.
The previous companies Charles Phillips worked for have been forever grateful that he has become a part of their team, it is because his skill and his determination to improve the company’s goal whatever company may he be working for has gained the attention of many business entities. Corporations were dying to get a hold of Charles, but he personally decided which career paths to chose. When his time as a Director for different establishments has come to a tire, he then went on to venture out in some banking institutions. This is the time where then set foot on Wall Street, the place where he fully expanded his expertise, working for some banking institutions, people saw the huge potential to Charles.
